Personal circumstances support
How to request support
It is important that you communicate any support needs you have to both your Trainer and your school.
If you would like to request support or further support you can speak with or email your Trainer and Teacher clearly outlining what support you are requesting. Alternatively, you can contact the office at hello@tlcentre.com.au.
Literacy and Numeracy Support
As a part of the Enrolment/Induction process, every student undertakes a literacy and numeracy evaluation in order to identify what if any support may be required. If you are concerned about your literacy and numeracy abilities and would like support it is important to contact your school to request this. Alternatively, you can request this support from your Trainer and they can discuss this with the school.
In all circumstances, it is important to make your Trainer
aware of your need for Literacy and Numeracy support so they can support you
within the classroom.
Disability Support
Our Trainers offer exceptional in-class support for students with disabilities. If a student’s disability is too great for a Trainer to support in-class typically the school will provide additional support to make sure the student excels in their course.
There sometimes funding available for specialised technology and support services for Skills Assure suppliers to assist students with disability to gain nationally-recognised skills and qualifications.
